Waterside Village - Steamboat Springs, CO
The developers of Waterside Village saw the potential of this site years before it was built. When purchased the site consisted of 4,000 square foot metal building and a small putt putt golf course at what was considered beyond "the edge" of downtown Steamboat Springs. But the developers knew the sight had enormous potential as it overlooked the Yampa River and Howelson Hill and was near the center of summer activities. Despite the unknown market they moved forward to construct a 31,000 sq foot mixed-use building. Consisting of 13 high end residential units, 2 employee housing units and 9 commercial condominium spaces, the project was a huge success selling out immediately upon completion. Waterside Village served as a catalyst in a once untested market, driving the development of 5 similar mixed-use projects in downtown Steamboat Springs. Despite its size and presence, Waterside Village fits Steamboat Springs' unique heritage and has helped lead to the transformation of downtown Steamboat Springs and Yampa St. and was featured in the ---- of the Colorado Real Estate Journal. Resale values increases over 60% due to highly sought after condo units.

The Hynds Building, sitting on a prominent corner of downtown Cheyenne was built in 1919 by notable architect William Dubois. Unfortunately for the past 25 years it has been boarded up. When the opportunity came to purchase the Hynds building the developers couldn't wait. "It is like to returning to our roots. We have always had a love for historic structures and our business began by purchasing old homes in the now popular Highlands Neighborhood and restoring them to their glory. The Hynds building is deserving of another chance. The opportunity to help revitalize downtown Cheyenne is wonderful, as one of us was born and raised in Cheyenne. Over 35,000 sq feet and 5 stories tall the renovation of the Hynds Building is a slow process, but one which offers outstanding rewards for the owners, the tenants and for downtown Cheyenne.

Coyote Run Subdivision - Oak Creek/Steamboat Springs, CO
Coyote Run sits above Stagecoach Reservoir at the base of the old Stagecoach Ski area near Steamboat Springs, CO. The subdivision was originally platted for over 100 multi- family dwellings during the 1970's when speculators attempted to cash in on Colorado's Winter Olympic Bid. Yampa Valley Development chose to rezone the area to create 15 ½ to 1 acre building sites to better accommodate the rural nature of the area and the need for single family homes. Lots were laid out to best accommodate the sweeping views of Young Peak and Stagecoach Reservoir. A community park, trails and open space were provided to create an active rural community. According to Colorado Biz Journal, "This was one of the first successful projects since the failed Olympic Bid" (May 4, 2004). Buyers would agree as all the lots in the subdivision were under contract within 1 year and resale values have nearly doubled due to the sense of community created and thoughtful layout.
